Diversion Burlesk: Oh Hell Yeah!

The cherry blossoms are blooming, the crocuses are poking their cute little faces out of the dirt, and the Diversion Burlesk crew is ready to come out of a seasonal affective disorder fueled hibernation with Oh Hell Yeah! Hosted by Holly Shirt and Atomic Ember! What better way to say goodbye to a wet and cold winter and hello to a wet and marginally warmer spring than a burlesque show? These performers have chosen numbers that make them feel powerful, radical, and fierce as all hell, and they’re ready to put on a show that’s bound to leave you saying “HELL YEAH!”

Tickets available on EVENTBRITE

doors at 7:00pm

show at 8:00pm

This event takes place on unceded Lekwungen territory, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations. Unceded means never surrendered! If you’re a settler, check out https://bit.ly/325FcNf for more ways to show solidarity with Indigenous people.

This is a 19+ event

Featuring performances by:
Them Fatale – Burnina Sparks – Midge Ender – Electra Mayhem & Pearl Reckless – Scarlett Hummingbird – Miss Moira Moody – Walter Ego – the Rustic Ginger Tart – and more

Diversion Burlesk strives to nurture safer spaces with zero tolerance for body shaming, or homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist or hateful behaviour. Practicing good consent is mandatory! Check out https://www.antiviolenceproject.org/ for cool resources and more information.
