Sensual Movement: SPARKLE
Are you wanting to feel more confident in your movement? Need some extra steps for your choreography? Are you interested in the world of burlesque but not quite ready for that final reveal?
Well it’s time to feel good and embrace your inner sexy!
In this technique based class, we will learn basic burlesque and jazz inspired movements. Each week will be dedicated to learning different sensual movements and how to incorporate it into choreography. We will go over confidence building techniques, burlesque inspired movement, and floor work. Other elements of focus include:
  • body rolls
  • hip movement
  • chest isolations
  • eye contact
  • moving with intention and moving with the music
  • creating flow between movements
  • counting music
I recommend that participants bring heels or jazz shoes and a water bottle. This class is 90 minutes.
Each class will include a warm up, isolations, technique, choreography and a cool down
This class is perfect for anyone who wants to expand their technique and feels ready for some more advanced choreography. Like SHINE, this class creates space to practice self love and have fun!

I am now offering TWO sponsorsed spots for BIPOC folks. To reserve one of these spots please email me and let me know which class you would like to take! hazelvalentinexoxo@gmail.com

Accessibility:
Unfortunately Wild roots is not wheelchair accessible. The studio is up a flight of stairs and down a long corridor. I apologize for the lack of accessibility in this new location, and I am always looking for a new accessible space. The washroom is gender neutral. The studio is a scent free space. Music will operate through two speakers in the studio, connected to my phone. I will have control over the sound and the lights are fairly bright.
